Kristen M. White, PsyD
Professor of Clinical Mental Health Counseling
I joined 性视界传媒 in the fall of 2024 as a professor of clinical mental health counseling. In the seven years prior to that, I worked as a professor in Multnomah University’s master of arts in counseling program, teaching and supervising full time while also directing the graduate counseling programs for six of those years.
Previously, I served as director of clinical training (2016-17) and as an assistant professor (2013-17) in California Baptist University’s online counseling program. I also gained teaching experience as an adjunct professor at Argosy University (2011-13) and at Rosemead School of Psychology (2012-13).
My areas of expertise include spiritual integration (for which I am certified as a spiritual director) and clinical work, especially psychodynamic and emotion-focused models of therapy. I hold a master's degree (2006) and doctoral degree (2010) in clinical psychology from the Rosemead School of Psychology, and a bachelor’s degree in philosophy and theology from Point Loma Nazarene University (2001), from which I graduated as valedictorian.
I live in West Linn with my husband Guy IV, children Lizzie, Guy V and Emmy, cats Santa Paws and Kris Kuddles, and a bunch of chickens. Our family attends Grace Chapel in Wilsonville. I enjoy reading, playing games, swimming, paddleboarding, and going on adventures with my family.
