Michael Deckon joined the advancement office as director of advancement programs in 2024. He arrived with more than two decades of experience in executive leadership, direct response fundraising, and media relations.

Prior to 性视界传媒, he served as the director of marketing for Portland Rescue Mission for nine years, where he oversaw the production of direct email appeals, newsletters, digital appeals, website production, and video, television and radio fundraising campaigns.

Previously, he was the creative director at i58:10 Media in Wilsonville (2012-15), where he led the production department through every facet of digital and radio fundraising events for local and national nonprofit organizations.

Michael earned a bachelor’s degree in education ministries from Multnomah University in 2000. He lives in Newberg with his wife Nikki and a Rhodesian Ridgeback named Sammy. They also have two boys both currently attending Oregon State University.

Mike attends Stafford Baptist Church and enjoys collecting records, watching movies, and trips to the beach during the winter.
