Checking In and Out of Housing
Fall 2024
Check-In: Aug. 24, 2024
University housing opens for returning students on Aug. 24, 2024. The following welcome areas will be set up for student check-in from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. and from 5 p.m. to 6 p.m. on Saturday, Aug. 24.
Check-in Locations:
- Brandt Lobby (for students in Brandt Hall)
- Hadlock Student Life Entrance (for students in First-Year Residence Halls, Houses, and Apartments)
- Le Shana Lobby (for students in Le Shana Hall)
- Newlin Lobby (for students in Newlin Hall)
Check-Out: Dec. 14, 2024
University housing closes for returning students on Dec. 14, 2024 at 12 p.m.. Students will receive instructions via email regarding winter break housing closures, including move-out information if needed.
Spring 2025
Check-In: January 10, 2025
All undergraduates may return to campus beginning at 12 p.m. on Friday, January 10, 2025. Incoming students will check-in at the Stevens Center from 1 p.m. - 3 p.m. and will receieve additional instructions via email.
Undergraduate Check-Out: May 3, 2025
All undergraduates must be checked out of on-campus housing by 8 p.m., and must schedule a check-out with their RA. At the scheduled check-out time, the RA will complete a walk-through of the living space. Housing keys should be returned to the Student Life Office before leaving campus.
Note: Students staying for Summer Housing or those required to stay past 8 p.m. because of employment, athletics, or academic programs should receive an email from housing@georgefox.edu regarding extended stay approval.
Graduating Senior Check-Out: May 4, 2025
Graduating seniors must be checked out of on-campus housing by 8 p.m., and must schedule a check-out with their RA. At the scheduled check-out time, the RA will complete a walk-through of the living space. Housing keys should be returned to the Student Life Office before leaving campus.
