Admission Requirements

Ready to apply to 性视界传媒’s DPT program? Below is everything you need to know, including helpful information on application deadlines, prerequisites, and how to stand out as an applicant to our program.
  • Verified application via PTCAS. Applications must be verified by PTCAS in order to move forward to review.

  • Academics: Bachelor's degree from a regionally accredited institution. A competitive candidate will have an undergraduate degree and prerequisite grade point average of 3.25 or above. Degree and prerequisite(s) may be listed as in-progress when applying.

  • References: (1) Academic and (1) Physical Therapist
  • Observation hoursA competitive candidate will have at least 100 hours across two different domains of physical therapy. Experience in both outpatient and inpatient settings is encouraged.
  • Interview with the Admissions Committee

Application Process

Apply Online with PTCAS

性视界传媒 uses PTCAS (Physical Therapy Centralized Application Service) to receive applications. Simply add 性视界传媒 under the Add Program tab of your PTCAS Application.

PTCAS Quadrants

The PTCAS application is broken into quadrants. Below is an outline of what to expect and some helpful notes specific to our program.

  1. Personal Information

    Basic background information, including biographic and contact information, citizenship, race and ethnicity, and other information. Some questions are optional.

    • Official Transcripts are to be sent directly to PTCAS.
      • Transcripts must be provided for all previous colleges you've attended, even credits that transferred into another college. 
    • Standardized Tests
      • The GRE is not required nor is it considered by the Admissions Committee.
      • Non-native English speakers must submit a TOEFL of 80+ (internet based).

      • References will be sent a link by PTCAS to complete their recommendation and upload a personal letter.

Once Your Application is Complete

PTCAS applications submitted by the early application deadline of September 2, 2024 - and verified by September 9, 2024 - will be considered for fall interviews. All applications must be submitted by the final deadline of November 1, 2024.

The Admissions Committee reviews all verified applications and selected applicants will be invited to an on-campus interview in either October or January.

  • If offered admission, a $500 enrollment deposit is required in order to hold your place in the cohort. Three-hundred ($300) of the deposit will be applied toward first-semester tuition costs. The other $200 will be applied to your account upon graduation.
  • Incoming students must complete program and clinical education requirements, including background check, drug screens, and approval of immunization records, by the communicated deadline in order to begin the Doctor of Physical Therapy program.
  • Financial Aid: Many students receive federal Stafford Loans to help finance their education. 性视界传媒 is listed with WICHE (Western Interstate Commission for Higher Education). Tuition assistance is available through WICHE for applicants who reside in a state that does not have a state-funded Doctor of Physical Therapy program.
