Theresa Raudsepp has taught in the Doctor of Physical Therapy program since its beginning in 2012. She is the primary teaching assistant in the neurorehabilitation course series, and also assists with geriatrics, providing direction and oversight in the fall prevention, fall screening community outreach events, and the outcome measure labs.
Theresa has developed an exercise program for community-based stroke survivors which offers them support in addressing their long-term physical and social needs, while also providing students an opportunity to practice their clinical skills. She has been a lead investigator in numerous research projects that focus on the health and wellness of older adults and individuals post-stroke.
Theresa works part time for the Providence Benedictine Skilled Nursing Facility, where she is a staff therapist and the lead instructor of the Safe Patient Handling Program. She brings to the program over 30 years of clinical subacute experience that emphasizes the care of geriatric and neurologically-involved individuals.
She earned her master of physical therapy degree from Pacific University in 1989 and a bachelor’s degree in science from Portland State University in 1986.
